Hotel Bloemendal, Near Aachen - Vaals

The rooms have a large comfortable bed and are updated. the staff are courteous and offer central heating, a private safe, and multi-channel TV. the atmosphere of the hotel is comfortable. the service is impeccable and the breakfast is large and outstanding. On-site parking is available.

Reasonable prices, nothing to complain about. Impressive place with pleasant employees on night shift. Perfect and magnificent location steps away from the city center. Outstanding restaurant not too far away from the hotel. A safe box, TV set, and a mini-fridge-bar in the room and a very comfy bed.

It was a beautiful building with kind and helpful staff and the food in the restaurant was to "die for!"

I felt that the modern art in the grounds were not in keeping with the building and setting

It is a fine building and well converted to a hotel, very spacious. Lots of pleasant sitting areas, great dining room and excellent breakfast and evening meal. Grounds around the hotel also very pleasant

Service in the restaurant was a bit slow fot he second sitting in the evening

The hotel is absolutely great and magnificent with polite staff on night shift. the room was luxurious and extremely spacious. the location is favorable, very close to the heart of Vaals. the restaurant was nice for dinner, where we ordered hot dishes.

The diningroom, The comfortable Castel luxury room. Personel extremely nice and ofcourse the "lastminute" price for the booking and an upgrade for 15 euros per night.

For years they have the policy to pay for your internet minutes. I think that in this time it should be free of charge as it is in so many other hotels. (Free Wifi) Breakfast of 15.50 euro is rather expensive, which we have not taken. I don't need smoked salmon early in the morning..

Was a cozy base for weekend. Booked a room with excellent views over the gardens.

The staff at the hotel was very polite and pleasant. the place was tidy and well-maintained. the location of the hotel in Vaals was stunning and lovely, with easy access to downtown.

Great experience with an amazing breakfast that included freshly made omelets! 😊

We were given a very large comfortable "standard" room (perhaps because we were staying 5 nights, but it was quiet and clean.

Shower needed a good scrub and / or re-grouting.

It was a beautiful building , that just looked like it had a story to tell . Good location to get around on the bus route .

This suite was absolutely stunning and a feast for the eyes. The four-poster bed and spacious bathroom with a steam shower and whirlpool bath made us feel like royalty. We couldn't have asked for more luxury during our stay.

The only thing we didn't love was the coffee/tea set in the room. It didn't quite meet our personal taste, but others may still find enjoyment in it.
